Nitro Battle Racing is a racing combat game made in Unreal Engine 5 by a team of 7 programmers

Sketched out full track layouts and reviewed these with the team
Created initial prototypes of these tracks using splines in Unreal and had teammates race on them and give feedback
Iterated on feedback to create a more engaging, polished track
Worked with a specialized UI Designer to create the layout of the HUD for our game, then used art made by another team member to program and lay out the UI elements to be seen by the player in game.
Placement text, lap counter, and typer are dynamic and change colors/sizes depending on context
Designed and created the UI that shows lap times, shows player feedback on each complete lap and contains buttons at the end of the race to continue the game flow
Created a system to display the individual kart stats which were hand crafted by me in an Excel sheet. This display shows each of the unique stats for each kart as they are selected through the menu.
Stats affect how the kart drives in a race, and players can choose a kart that fits their style.
Utilized ClickUp to handle task tracking with my team, kept track of my tasks and bugs in the project
Maintained frequent communication with the whole team by providing meeting notes and being an active participant
Created spreadsheets to track testing of all game mechanics, behaviors, audio, UI, and Build creation.
Tested the game on a weekly basis to ensure all systems worked properly, added new tests as new features were added to the project
